I use "Techno"
to describe a range of geometric and industrial looks.

A friend working in
technical publications was launching a new magazine on microchips for
engineers. The lead article was on "Glassy Semiconductors" and I was
commissioned to turn a photograph of a tiny computer chip into a stained
glass panel. I incorporated some old glass roundels and some light displays
from Lionel train controls.

It was a short metamorphous from
microchip to "Technomorphous" which allowed me to add some 3D effects. The
use of 50 to 90 year old recycled clear textured glass added a certain irony
to the piece. |

One of the advantages of using
clear textured glass is that any panel tends to look good either hanging in
a window and on a wall. |
